I'm glad you got your transfer problem resolved.

As for the difficulty downloading iOS9, I assume your connectivity is
otherwise fine? It may be the popularity of the download that's
contributing to the problem. I would wait a few hours and try again.

Sorry I don't have a more conclusive suggestion.
