Unfortunately, no. When I attempted to go from 12.1.2, to 12.2, it told me it needed at least Windows 7. 12.3 does not even get that message when I attempt an update. It just says my software is up to date. I would think vista would be close enough to windows 7 to run it, but apparently not.

Generally, if a major version of an app runs (major being version 12, in this case) incremental updates to that version are fine. What happens when you try to install 12.3? I do know that they put a useable table index back into Apple Music, that is good. I used iTunes on my computer to upgrade. Really near the end of the upgrade, ITunes told me that Arnold's iPhone could not be used because I needed a newer version of iTunes. What a scare! What am I going to do, my phone is not on yet! I waited, and it did come on, and the rest of the setup process went easier than in the past. What iTunes meant is that this poor old Vista computer, running iTunes 12.1.2 is now just too old. It won't run anything later than iTunes 12.1.2, I guess my phone needs at least 12.2 to interface with my computer now. So, being that I really don't want one of these phones without access to a computer running iTunes, I guess I am going to have to hit up my 401K, or something, and get a Windows 10 computer. I was planning to do this anyway, maybe in the spring, after saving the money to spare the 401k, and Windows 10 went through an update or two, not this soon. I know I technically could upgrade this one to windows 7, then to 10, but that would be wasting money in my opinion, just put that money toward a new one. Whatever. My stuff is just too old now.
