Alex, OK, I will try and explain this. Let's say I want to edit the sentence the cow jumped over the moon. And the notes app, I can't get it to go word by word. And email I know exactly how to make it go word by word and I know exactly where the cursor is. In the notes app, it either goes to the beginning or to the end. I have tried putting the rotor on edit, and it doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm not sure how else to explain this. Thanks for any help you can provide. Nancy
