Traci, i'm afraid I can't help you with this specific password situation, only to say that I'd think about it for a while, and then go do something else for a bit. It might pop up in your head. To guard against problems like this in the future, I highly recommend the iOS app called 1Password. Is a password manager on the iPhone, Mac, and windows. I believe her Mac version is accessible, or being worked on, but I don't know the status of it, since I don't use a Mac. The developer is really awesome in terms of making his abs usable for VoiceOver users, though.
The system I use for passwords is to pick three words that stay the same, and one that changes based on what website you're logging into. I would also suggest that one of the words that stays the same have a number in it, for example, zero for an o. This makes it very easy to always have a number in your password, and not have to remember if The word that changes has a number in it or not.
