Hi Rich, How odd. I use the same password I use as a passcode on my phone to keep things simple, and I've never had any trouble. It's just a five-letter word, so there are no requirements about mixing numbers and letters, having to have capital letters, etc. You've probably already tried rebooting, but if you haven't, it's worth a try. Apple Accessibility might be able to help as well.
