That is something that I have always disliked in most e-mail clients, in
Outlook 2010 at least I have been able to change this behavior but not on the
iPhone. In some ways I see the logic, in others, like keeping track of a
thread, I do not. At work I had mine set from newest to oldest for reasons of
being able to keep track of changes to messages previously sent but at home, I
still prefer to see oldest to newest, makes more sense to me. Unfortunately I
occasionally reply to a message that has been previously answered multiple
times, but it just makes sense normally to see the first in, first out
messages.

Very Occasionally, if I know an important message has been sent or I am
expecting an answer I start at the bottom of my Outlook 2010 list but it not
the way I like to read most messages.
Reading last to first makes for more confusion in my elderly mind.
It is like reading a book from back to front.

Subject: Default mailing app. Can it be customised?

Hello,
I prefer reading messages from oldest to newest. Unfortunately, the IPad
doesn't agree, it thinks reading from newest to oldest is a better idea. Is
there a way to change it? If so, how, please? If not, a quick way to stay at
the bottom?
