I never figured out associate, I had Cleaver Clues, the random placement of the letters drove me crazy but my late husband played it and bought more puzzles or whatever they were called, then He would ask me the questions and make me spell words for him, LOL, so in a way I played it a lot also, just never got very far alone mostly because there was no regular keyboard, no way to play it with speed, and since most of any game I played at that time was waiting for a ride, a few minutes in the hospital when things were quiet, never with hours to spend, I gave up on it and just helped Tom with his 10-letter puzzles. I played Fruit Machine most often at the hospital due to the fact that I could stop in a matter of seconds and come back later. This was mostly before any of the Blindfold games came out.
Since Tom passed, I have played a game of blackjack once in a while, a few minutes with some of the Blindfold games but generally I am usually so deeply involved in a book on the phone or Stream that playing a game is the last thing I want to do. I do realize that game playing could help with tension,. The only thing on Dice World that I know most of the rules for is Yahtzi, the rest of the games are strange to me, Reading the help was not helpful but at the time I tried was in 2014 just before my husband passed. The night before that he had downloaded Dice World so he could play and explain to me, unfortunately, all I could see is when he downloaded the game. I suppose that I don't do a lot of games well is that during my childhood there were not many games a blind kid could play, and my parents would never buy an adapted game so I had to allow others to play, often not even getting a choice. After I got married things changed as my husband's family were great game players and he would insist that we get something so I could take my own turn. I could think of plenty of words in Scrabble, for example but when the board got really full I could not think of how to place letters to win. My birthday and Christmas presents were often tactile games in the early years. He tried to teach me chess but, I never got very far, and he refused to play Monopoly with me because I won all the time. LOL. I played cribbage and poker with his family until his dad passed. I never actually did the peg board, however, his mother usually did that for everyone. I tried Cribbage Pro but at the time did not have time to really devote to it.
