It is subjective. I like Alex at a slower speed. But, since I use voice over at a faster speed I won't use Alex because it just sounds too garbled. I am rather surprised at how good the mail Siri voice sounds for voice over but I still always seem to defaults to the contact Samantha voice. I didn't realize the eloquence was no longer being supported. I use that all jaws still and even though they have other voices out there I like that one the best. Humid digitalized synthesizers are difficult for me to enjoy. Again, it is a speed issue. Since I listen to it so quickly the human voice just doesn't seem to flow very well. I would definitely use eloquence if you were offered on the iPhone. I apologize for the dictation errors. I don't have time to go back and correct them right now as I'm heading out the door.
