Writer only reads txt files. The Microsoft Word app will do RTF, how well with VoiceOver I don't know. Also, Pages I think can now do RTF. If nothing else, maybe you could open it in Word, select all, then copy and paste it into Writer. A long way round, but it would get the info into Writer. Richard
