So, I have heard very little about this but I know of a few local businesses
that have upgraded their credit card machines to read the NFC chips according
to some requirement that they must update their machines by a certain date.
Will those machines read the iPhones with apple pay? Or do our phones only work
with machines that specifically state they work with apple pay? I am confused
about this. I’ve only used apple pay once at Walgreens because none of the
places I frequent are on the list of Merchants that support Apple Pay. I was
hoping these required upgrades would maybe allow me to use apple Pay in more
places. One can hope, right?
