Depends on what you're using your phone for. I have two iPhones at the moment, my personal phone with 16G and one from my employer with 8G. I've never wished for more space on my employer's phoneand seldomly on my personal phone. True, you should probably always get as much storage as you can afford, but there's no point in paying for storage you don't need either.

That goes back to what I said in the beginning. This is why I don't buy nothing
with just 8 or 16 gb of storage that is from apple IOS devices. I would not buy
less than 32 and even more is better. It is always better to have too much then
not enough storage! You cannot add to but you can just have more than you need
and just let it hang around . JST!

If you are not using the latest operating system, it would have been
automatically downloaded to your phone and will continue to take up
space till it is installed.

No way to create more storage on the phone itself other than
removing apps and such. But you can move things to the cloud and
still have access to them . That is things like documents and photos

I suggest IDrive, drop Box, google drive or OneDrive by Microsoft.

Subject: storage issues

Hi all,
I'm running an iPhone 6. My phone keeps telling me my storage is
low. I have
167 mb free and I'm using a 16 gig. I have no music on my phone. I'm
using
164 mb for photos even though I have no photos. Facebook is using
496 mb, I delete downcast but even with that I only have 594 mb.
How can I create more storage?
Thanks.
Steph
