Usually your Apple ID is your email address. I wonder if you are having my
iCloud issue. Even though it prompts me for my ID, to verify it (by entering my
password) I have two options: not now, or to go to settings/icloud. A friend
of mine today verified that she has my same issue when ever she turns her phone
on from when she had powered it off. I have other devices that this isn't
happening on, for which I use the same credentials. Even if I do the not now
option, I am still able to make App Store and iTunes store purchases.

They want your email and password, that’s all. Sometimes you can cancel the

computer. Hth.

How does one determine what their Apple ID is? I did the automatic
ITunes/IClouds upgrade this morning and IClouds seems to want it. To this
point, I don’t ever rememver having to use it for anything. All I need to do to
make a purchase from, say, the ap store is enter my password. I assume that it
gets my Apple ID directly from the phone. Thanks.
