Oh. I think I know what's going on. Vicky, OS 10 is the name of the Mac
operating system. That's probably why you were confused.

Are you confusing Windows 10 with iOS 10? As Shawn pointed out, iOS 9.2
will be next, Apple has already released the fourth public beta a couple of
days ago and I would guess that it will be publically available within a week
or two. There may be another beta next week with the final release in the first
week of December, but it won’t be long now.
iOS 9 will continue until next September, another 10 months or so. Apple
usually announces major iOS releases in June with first developer beta testing
and then a bit later public beta testing and the final release in mid September.

Thank you to everyone who answered my question. After several swipe
attempts and screen explorations, the install now button finally popped up on
the lower left of the home key. The phone is now rebooting, so I will hope for
the best.
Are people having luck with I.O.S. 10 or should I hold off on that one?
