Hi,
Yes it does come with a belt clip holster portion of the case which one can
choose to or not to use and yes the case does have a hard shell along with
the built in screen protector. It only differs from the otterbox defender
in that it is composed of two layers not 3.
If anyone has any further questions perhaps email me privately so we don't
take the list too afar a field and disrupt the intended flow of things.
Again I've no affiliation I've just been a happy user. I hope that helps.

So Robvin,
Does this have a belt clip, please, and, having never seen the Otter
Box, is this case you now have still one with a hard shell?
Thanks for any further comments and forgive me if I haven't followed
this thread thoroughly enough.

Hi Ari,
Good question. I don't often use the holster belt clip thingie however in
the interest of gaining knowledge I just looked to answer your question
and I can report with great joy and gladness that it blocks neither of
those ports at all (smile). As for how easy or difficult it would be to
insert one handed that I didn't test and I suspect that'd be subjective
anyway. But I can say with certainty that both charging and headphone
ports are accessible when in holster thing. I hope that helps.

Robin, I've heard of this brand of case before. Do you have one that has
the belt clip attachment? And if so, does that block access to the
charging port and headphone jack when it's in the clip? The reason I
really liked my old Defender is that it didn't block access to either of
those ports, and the Griffin Survivor that I have now does. Another reason
I like the OtterBox Defender over the Griffin Survivor is that the phone
is a lot easier to put back in the clip one-handed using the OtterBox
Defender.
Thanks,
Ari

Hi,
when the cases for the 6's and 6Plus's came out there was a great deal of
trouble with the protector not lying as flat against the front face of
the phone as it had in prior models. Many users thought this was due to
the thin film that was now covering the home button through which the
fingerprint censor would still work.
I haven't consulted more recent reviews of the cases for the 6s's and
6sPlus's to see if the problem persists as when it happened with the
prior models I went with a different case. It is the unicorn beetle line
from SupCase. It's similar to the defender cases at a slightly lower
price point. I wouldn't say it's exactly in the same class as the
defender but if you're not involved in construction work or dropping your
device from great heights you might make out just fine with this model as
I have. All cases I've purchased for myself and others of this range have
lain flat against the face of the phone in terms of its built in screen
protector portion. the home button fingerprint censor portion of this
case is open as it had been in earlier models of the otterbox defender
cases.
Examples of this case can be found here should you like to read more.
I've no affiliation with them I've just been a happy customer. I hope
that helps.

Do the Otterbox defender cases really have air pockets, like a lot of
people seem to be saying, or is that just one person or two people that
had a problem, and now it's getting hyped way out of hand? The reason I
want the screen protector is because I often touch my phone with dirty
hands.
Thanks,
Ari

Hi Fazil,
I have an Otterbox Defender case as well (which I never use any more),
but the first thing I did was to punch out the screen protector. The
Otterbox Defender has such a big edge that even if the phone falls
touchscreen down, it is extremely unlikely that the screen ever touches
the ground and I just don't like screen protectors. The screen protector
is glued in and if you start at one corner, it is not too hard to get it
off. It is of course anybody's choice, I am not that worried about my
screen since it is made from extremely hard glass. I have had the iPhone
4, 4S, 5S and now the 6S and I have dropped any one of them many times
without screen protector and never had a problem.

I had a little problem with Otterbox Commuter when I had it for my
IPhone6Plus.
Power button was getting pushed frequently with just the accidental
touch of my finger.
So, I replaced it with Otterbox Defender. Defender does not have that
problem, however, its screen protector does not snugly flush with the
screen and leaves some air-pockets here and there, thus you have to tap
very hard at times.
HTH.

Otterbox Defender, Griffin Survivor, Otterbox Commuter all spring to
mind at the heavy or more robust end; but this is mostly personal
taste.

Hello all,
Can iPhone 6S owners tell us which iPhone case you use to protect this
expensive and valuable device?
Thanks!
