If I understand what you're looking for, I think you want a comma to give you a pause between entering numbers. The more commas the longer the pause. A semicolon will throw up a dialogue for you to double tap on when you want to enter the next set of numbers.

Greetings. Can someone refresh me on how to automatically enter extra
numbers when making a phone call, such as when entering numbers in an
automated phone system? I know that I can use commas to separate each
menu choice, but I recall hearing a way to enter a group of numbers at
once with the pound key, and then double tapping to enter the next
group of numbers. I am training a couple of students on how to do this
and want to make sure I've got my information right. The extra numbers
would be added onto the end of a phone number in the contacts. I use
this method to enter account numbers for my bank and credit card but
want a refresher on the process.

Thanks,
