>From my own experience, I haven't had any major issues when leaving the phone plugged in even after it reaches a full charge. I plug mine in overnight, and figure that it spends most of the night at afull charge. Those with more knowledge in iPhone batteries will have to comment, but I don't think it does any long term damage to leave it plugged in. If you were to leave it plugged in all the time and it was constantly on AC power, that might be something different.
