Hi, I am just guessing here, but have you checked your iCloud storage to see if you have enough space available? To do this, go to settings/icloud and see how much space is left. Another item I might try is to keep the screen uunlocked while you plug in the phone and perform the backup. It could be that something is interrupting the backup when the screen is locked.
