Hi Candy.
There are pluses and minuses to each display on the market. The Focus
14 is a very flimsey device, so if you plan to use it for portable
purposes, be sure to purchase the case from executive products. While
the display itself is quite easily broken, the case that Freedom
Scientific ships with the Focus 14 also doesn't secure the display
very well if you want to wear it and  use it on the go. That said,
because it's a FS product, if you plan to use it with JAWS, for
example, it may still be worth considering since it has really good
JAWS support. However, hits list is an iPhone list, so I'm not going
to elaborate on that. Anyway, you may wish to check out the Accessory
Reviews second on braille devices on AppleVis, I and others have done
reviews of the various displays on the market. Admittedly, my Focus
display review is badly out of date and I will need to update it soon.
Anyway, I hope this helps. The smaller displays are mainlly toward the
