Keith,

I get similar problems from time to time and almost give up with it. However,
it does help if you calibrate the Braille dots and also if you can move the
phone around in your hands and you'll find you will get it back to the original
setting.

To calibrate the dots, first place your right hand where you think the dots 4,
5 and 6 should be and press just a little on the keyboard and after a short
pause you will hear a noise. Then, do the same with your left hand. See if that
helps. It is supposed to!

Hello, all. I am using IOS 9.2 and had no issue with on-screen braille input
until two days ago. Prior to that time, rotoring to Braille would give me the
message, "Landscape, hoem button to the right, screen away mode". (The home
button was actually to the left, but it made for great Braille input for me.

Two days ago, with no warning and no changes that I know of being made to the
system, rotoring to Braille got me the message, "Landscape, home button to the
left, screen away mode". I found that the Braille orientation had been
reversed, with dots 123 now on the right and dots 456 now on the left. I can
flip the phone to write as I am used to writing, but I am wondering what
happened and how I can restore my phone to what it was two days ago in terms of
on-screen braille input.

I have also noticed since this happened that not all dots are being recognized
consistently, so I have to proofread very carefully and change lots of errors.
I have always had very good luck with Braille input and make very few errors,
so I am wondering what is wrong.

I have rebooted the phone by turning it off and back on, and I even reset it
with pressing the Home and Power buttons simultaneously until the Apple symbol
appeared. Any additional explanations or suggestions would definitely be
appreciated, as Braille input on the screen has become a major part of how I
operate my phone.

Thanks.

Keith
