If it is an app you are currently working in, follow all steps. If you previously worked in the app, but are now focused on a different app, go to step 2.
1. Press the Home button once. 2. Press the Home Key twice quickly to bring up App Switcher. 3. If you want to open an app, double-tap it. 4. If you want to close an app, double-tap and hold on one of the apps listed along the bottom dock of the screen. You will hear the three-tone thingy. 5. Double-tap on the app you want to close. 6. Continue doing this if there are other apps you want to close, or, find the "dismiss app switcher" button in the middle of the screen and double-tap it to close it. - "The main vice of capitalism is the uneven distribution of prosperity. If your device is jailbroken, then there is an activator extension that quits all applications. If your device is not jailbroken, then you will have to manually close your apps. Also, IOS has a "force quit" feature, but I would not recommend using it regularly.
