Hi Sharonda, Depends on what you want in your Fitbit. My biggest concern was sleep so I ordered the Charge. But you can go to www.fitbit.com <http://www.fitbit.com/> to decide which version you want. As afar as syncing is concerned simply what happens is that everything you do is synced to an account on the web. One thing Michael made me remember though is it tracks what you do by arm movements so you need to be sure the arm you put it on is free and able to swing or do what ever that arm does in the exercising realm.
