Ruby, as Rex pointed out, any app you purchase with a particular Apple Id is 
tied to that Apple Id and you have to sign into the app store with that Apple 
Id in order to download them.
There are a couple of alternatives:
1. Ask your friend to set up Family Sharing and to add you as a family member. 
This way if apps do allow for family sharing (nmost do, but not all) you can 
access these apps with your own Apple Id.
2. You could ask your friend to "gift" apps you want using your Apple Id email. 
This will send you an email with a link to download the app which is then tied 
to your own Apple Id.
3. You could buy iTunes gift cards which I am sure are sold in some stores in 
India or you could ask your friend to send you an electronic gift card and pay 
her for it. Then you can load that gift card balance to your Apple Id and it 
would be available to you any time you want for app or other purchases like 
songs, books etc.

Any of these above 3 methods is much better than your friend buying apps with 
her Apple Id and to give you her Apple Id and password so you can log in as her 
and download them.
