It's not a 4S issue. Sure the 4S isn't going to be as snappy as a 6, but
if the thread is long enough then you'll see this hang on any device.
Besides, the 4S has gotten snappier with updates to IOS since one of the
middling IOS 8 releases, so it isn't true that subsequent updates will
automatically make your 4S more sluggish.
