After you click the download button with your phone connected through iTunes,
there are a couple of more screens- one has a "next button" and the second has
an "agree button". You can then tab to the activity popover button to monitor
the progress. In order for the values to change, I tab forward once and then
tab back to see the new reading. When the download is complete it will say
'done'. I always download first, then tab to the update button. You can tab a
few times to land in a field which will tell you of the progress of the
process. When this is through, the phone will shut down, then come back up with
the setup screen. HTH

Subject: RE: updating through I Tunes

I am now updating from settings on the phone. It will take many hours. btw, the
download button in settings on the update page was not read by voice over. I
had to take a picture and send it to someone at accessibility to discover it
was indeed there down at the bottom.
I thought the merits of updating through I Tunes were sung when I first
got my phone a year ago, but I've never succeeded in doing it that way. I
backup using I Tunes and don't even have my I Cloud drive on for backups.
