Sorry about that, I forgot about the audio file portion. I have no audio files, only documents. Some of the documents are one or two hours long, in VDR time, for whatever that's worth. I have about half of my iCloud space left. I'm not sure if files and documents in iCloud Drive use the same space as in iCloud, like for phone backups and data. How much space would regular documents take up in iCloud Drive? I have several articles, some reference material, books, and other documents in Voice Dream Reader.
