Tonight something weird happened. We went to dinner with friends and he asked
about me sending him an invitation by email to accept or decline.
I finally realized that I had entered the appointment as Dinner with George and
Sue. Nothing more. He asked if I had a sister named Sue since it mentioned her,
too.
When I looked at my calendar it said George accepted and another contact named
Sue declined. Of course she did—she lives in another state and had nothing to
do with the appointment.
So how do I prevent the calendar from sending out emails? Who knows who it has
been emailing when I put in my very casual appointments.
I looked in settings under calendar and the only thing I saw about invitations
was Show declined and I put no since I wasn’t planning to issue any invitations.
So any help will be appreciated. I would not have known the calendar was doing
this if he had not said something. I mean, I did not use last names and the
calendar sent emails anyway!
Thanks,
Sherrie Gosling
