I like it very much. My wife and I share the plan you are talking about. The best thing about Consumer Cellular is that you can change your plan at any time with no penalty. Even if you realize on April 30 that you have gone over your minutes, you can change your plan up to the next level of minutes and it takes effect immediately so you are not charged the 25 cents per minute overage fee. So, for example, if you went over by 10 or 15 minutes, you might as well just pay the extra 25 cents a minute. But, if you went over by say 30 minutes, you can pay $5.00 and jump your plan from 250 minutes to 750 minutes. Then, the next month when you realize you are not going to get near the old 250 limit, you can change it back. We’ve been on Consumer Cellular for 2 years. If you start from the upper left once you get your account information in, it is likely to say your bill is passed due, but if you start from the bottom right, you will find your balance is zero. I've reported this issue several times, but they have done nothing. If you have a sighted person look at the screen, that message is not there about being passed due. It is a voiceOver bug. Even though you can check data usage in settings, I like getting the information straight from my cell provider if possible. I found that the data usage listed in my settings did not always match what my cell provider said I had used. And when it comes to going over and being charged for it, I want to be accurate when knowing how much data I have used. LIKE I use the My Verizon app to track and keep up with my data. This way I know the correct amount since it is coming directly from them. I checked the app store, and even though I do not know how accessible it is, there is an app for Consumer Cellular that I would highly recommend you check out.
