Yes, that’ll fix it. This was something I found out soon after I got my 5S,
when trying to connect to WiFi (which was quite buggy in the iOS 7.0.x
release), having to go into Airplane Mode first, etc.

Don't pair the Focus in the Bluetooth settings. Instead, connect it under the
Braille section of VoiceOver. Then it should work.

I would try removing the focus from the braille settings under voiceover
settings. Make sure your not arround other bluetooth devices, then try paring

Once pared, always turn on the focus before unlocking the iPhone, then lock
the iPhone before turning off the focus and you shouldn't have any further
problems.

again and said "forget device." Now the unit is still on... it won't be
recognized again. I rebooted my phone... took settings out of the ap
switcher... still nothing. I've turned bluetooth off and on several times.
Any other suggesttions? I'm going through braille display withdrawal here!
