Hi all,

I've just been introduced to SelfieX (note the capital X) and have tried it out having learned that another VI user has not yet failed with this.

It's pretty unique in that you use the back-facing camera (which is the better of the two we have on the 6S) and it has one feature which is just great for us! It speaks and you can buy other voices other than its default. It gives direction because the app writer says you can't see what you're taking when using the back camera!

How cool is this!

I have really been very reluctant to take pictures but have taken just a few of myself. I'd really welcome some input from folk on some of the best techniques for us to follow and then what we're actually able to do with a picture ourselves in the way of alteration, renaming etc. (I have found the only way for me to rename is to upload the photo to Dropbox and do it that way, but there may be better ideas ...)

I know Jonathan mentioned some advances with this (maybe when iOS9 was first introduced) but I can't recall exactly what they were. Maybe someone can refresh my memory, please!
