Thanks for this, though I objected and absolutely declined to let facebook near so much personal data. I am thus, reasonably justified. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Chaffin" <chaffin102...@gmail.com> To: <viphone@googlegroups.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 03, 2016 10:42 PM Subject: Re: Quick way to delete contacts
Jewel, I do not know if this will help your situation, but I had a friend that also could not delete certain contacts, and it came up to be because those contacts were linked to Facebook. After he went into Settings / Facebook, and unchecked the box that synced his Facebook friends with his contacts, then he was able to delete those contacts. So I would imagine that the contacts that you are not able to delete is from another app like Facebook that has been linked to your contacts. Hope this helps, Chris > On May 3, 2016, at 1:52 AM, Jewel <jewelbla...@kinect.co.nz> wrote: > > I have done many stupid things in my 77 years, but, surely, the most stupid > would have to be when I > acquired an iPhone exactly 1 year ago, a year that has been full of > frustration and tribulation! > yeah--yeah--yeah!
