I had problems getting Navigon to download the sound files for turn by turn directions. In disgust I deleted the app and reinstalled it.
It works like a charm now. One secret I found is to download really large files on Sunday mornings. Downloading and reinstalling Navigon and all of the maps took about ten minutes.
