Hi Wayne, I have had this same case on my iPhone 6S for about a month, and sometimes it does nothing when I plug the lightning cable in. So when that happens, I unplug it from the case, reboot the phone, then plug it back in and all is well. Kind of a pain, but not much of one. Smile! Hope this works for you!
