For Canada CBC News is probably one of the best despite a few inconveniences. The app is very accessible except that once you start reading an article you have to let Voiceover read it from start to finish and hope you won't be interrupted by a push notification, phone call or text message since anything that briefly takes over will make you loose your spot and you have to start reading the article again from the beginning.
