You can go to each Device once it's connected, you can go to music, appk,
book, etc. and select which content you want on that particular device.

I use a playlist. My wife has a playlist and I have a playlist for the songs
we each like.
Once created, you can also choose which playlists that you want on the
device.
I have each of our playlist on my iPhone. If I'm alone, I can listen to just
mine, and if we're together, I may play hers or the complete library.

Subject: Using IPod & IPhone on the same PC Queery

Hi Guys,

I'm using my IPod and IPhone on the same PC, is it possible to have
different content on both devices? I want to put books onto the IPod,
without them going onto the IPhone where I have music stored, is this
possible? If so, how do I go about it? My IPod is a 3rd gen 64gb touch,
and the IPhone is a 16gb 4S. The books are already converted into the M4B
format for ITunes.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

James.
