I have also noticed this, and some other friends of mine have told me of it
as well. I am using an iPhone 4 and a friend is using the 4S. It's kind of
weird but not to annoying. I don't know if it is voice over, iBooks or the
actual eBook itself. I haven't had it happen in every book I have read.

I noticed this as well. But, I'm only reading my first iBook so I
didn't think much of it. I usually read BookShare books on my iPhone,
and I've read a few GooglePlay books -- but I had to manually change
the page on those.
However, I don't know if there's a setting to change, nor do I know if
the words are actually repeated visually I'd have to get out a
mangnifier to see print that small! But I usually have been ignoring
it since it's not taking away from the book, just a little annoying.
