I would like to say the Fitbit app is accessible, but unless I am not
understanding how to log in, it is not. It looks accessible when you start, but
when it asks for your statistics I can find no place to log them. Also, Fitbit
works with the devices so there are a lot of ads for them. I really think they
do not want you to use just the app. The one I use is My Fitness Pal. Not
extremely intuitive, but once you figure out how to log food it is very
accessible. The database is big also, and they actually have menus for
restaurants to help you make healthy choices when going out. It also hooks to
Apple's health app and counts steps/movement giving you more calories. You can
also track your exercise and water intake, and each food you log also shows you
nutritional info. I have been using it for 2 weeks and diligently tracking
everything, and I have lost 4 pounds. Have a way to hit 40 pound weight loss,
but exercising every day and eating healthy will get me there eventually.

I'm just starting my research, so sorry I haven't done more Googling or checked
out AppleVis yet, but I'm thinking of a FitBit or some other fitness
peripheral. I've seen FitBit discussed on this list, so I assume it's mostly
accessible. Does anyone have any advice or experience?

I'd like to keep my options open with respect to whether my next phone will be
an iPhone or and Android device, so I'm not really considering an Apple Watch
at the moment, but if anyone has any other recommendations, I'd love to hear
them.
