Uber x is a regular car, as opposed to xl, which is a larger car or van.
Select is a newer, more expensive car. I have known of people being picked up
in a BMW, Mercedes,etc. The fair for the select vehicles can be, usually is,
higher, too. However, it depends on what is available when you place your
order. I have been picked up in a van, using Uber X, just because it was
nearest to me.
