Hi Christopher, For me playing music and talk radio programs from my phone, I would say that Airplay works pretty well. I did have an instance yesterday where I was playing a talk radio program using Ootunes on my phone and I noticed that for some reason the volume of the program was being controlled by the volume buttons on my phone instead of the volume of the tv. I paused the program, restarted my phone, and all was well again. I am not sure how good Airplay is for video content but I hope that this at least answers your question
