I would probably first try to determine what is wrong with her Dropbox account and fix it. If there is a virus or malware then it is likely that it is in one of the files she has stored there, I doubt that Dropbox itself is doing anything and if it is a problem with a file and she transfers all the contents of her Dropbox to a different service she will have the same problem. I would write to Dropbox support, explain the issue and see what they have to say.
