Are you on the beta program? I am, and for no good reason at all, I wonder if installing a new beta resets the brightness for some reason.

I've seen this as well on my iPhone 4S. It seems sporadic, but there must be
something I'm doing to kick the brightness up from time to time, but I don't
check it frequently and by the time I notice it, who knows what might have
triggered it.

Hi all,

Since I rely totally on VoiceOver to read my iPhone screen, I set the screen
brightness to 0 to help preserve battery use. When I do that, it stays there
for a while, but then I'll check it and it'll be at 40 percent or something
like that. I have auto brightness turned off so have no idea what's making it
do that. My iPhone is a 6S, but not sure that has anything to do with it. LOL.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

Ann
