The way I did this was so easy and simple and works well. Go into
settings and where it says contacts, mail accounts. Choose to set up an
other account and select cardav. You put your Google account information
there and it moves everything over. Any time you update on Google, it
also updates on your iPhone. Do a little research on cardav accounts and
see if that's what you're wanting to do.

Hi all
I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I want to try to make sure that all my
contacts are completely synced between my ICloud and Gmail accounts, so that
they will all work regardless of what device I'm using and so that they're all
up-to-date/contain the same information and there aren't loads of duplicates
about. Does anyone know how I can do this?? I'm sure there's a way, but I've
just had a total blank.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks.
