The fact that Roger switches to the ear piece from the speaker is not new with the last update. It was doing it before the update. They sure have a lot to work on in this app. I also hate the fact that when I tell it I don’t want notifications, it asks me again every time I stop the microphone. I should be able to turn off notifications and then not be bothered with a question every time I transmit a message. This has been reported so, I guess we have to give them time to work on it. They should look at fixing what needs to be fixed before trying to bring in new features. Creating a group and inviting people to it is not as easy as it could be. This is new in Roger. What you're describing is a new feature called live mode which behaves the way you described. It can be turned off in settings or find the settings button and flick right. Double tap on that and Roger will behave the way it did before the update. I like it on but I can see where it can get annoying especially in groups.
