I'm pretty sure what I'm asking is not possible but I'll run it by you fine and smart folks before making any incorrect assumptions. I happened to be in a Kroger store today without my wallet. I did have my iPhone but unfortunately, Kroger doesn't take Apple Pay. They also said they couldn't enter my memorized credit card info manually at the checkout line. What I would like is an app that would let me input my various credit cards into it that would allow me to present them at checkout so that a barcode or QR code could be scanned and the info input into the checkout register. Now that I've typed this, I realize that if such a thing were possible, Apple Pay wouldn't need to exist. I also suspect such an app would be fraught with security risks which will prevent it from ever existing. Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble on and if anyone has any comments on what I proposed, I'd love to hear them.
