In addition, as has been said before elsewhere, they may be removing the headphone jack this year so they can really wow everyone with something special next year. As one podcaster pointed out this week, this year the main topic of conversation is the headphone jack disappearing. While next year, everyone or most people will have moved on from that and will be talking about whatever special item they're working on for the 10 year iPhone. I don't like it any better than other people, but at least they're helping to ease the transition by including an adaptor in the box this year. They could just as easily charge $20 or $30 for that $9 adaptor, and make us buy it as an accessory.
