Hello Everyone, I would greatly appreciate your support in sending a VoiceOver feedback report to CapitalOne regarding the latest release of their CapitalOne Mobile app for iOS released on September 13, 2016.
Please note that this is a different app than the CapitalOne Wallet app, reviewed, last week. I have already written the report so all you need to do is to paste it into a new email, either in its entirety or modified as you see fit, with a subject line of "CapitalOne Mobile App for iOS Breaks VoiceOver Accessibility for the Blind and Low Vision", without the quote marks. Please (1) send the report to CapitalOne via the Feedback option from within the CapitalOne Mobile app, itself; (2) email your report to: soc...@capitalone.com, (3) post it, as a review, in the iTunes App Store, and/or (4) send it, via a direct message to the @AskCapitalOne Twitter account. [BEGIN REPORT] Subject: CapitalOne Mobile App for iOS Breaks VoiceOver Accessibility for the Blind and Low Vision Hello, VoiceOver accessibility has been broken in the current version of the CapitalOne Mobile app for iOS, released on September 13, 2016. The primary problem is that, unlike in the previous version of CapitalOne Mobile, VoiceOver does not correctly read any of the information listed on the initial card summary page of the app for those who have multiple credit card accounts. To reproduce this problem: 1. Make certain that you have multiple credit card accounts registered with the app. 2. Simply launch the latest version of CapitalOne Mobile. Instead of allowing a blind or low vision user to hear each card's identifying information such as the last four digits of the account number, followed by its current balance, etc, all VoiceOver says is, "Dollar" followed by some random number. I Fervently request that these issues be addressed as soon as possible as I and countless other blind and low vision CapitalOne customers have come to greatly depend upon this tool. Thank you.
