Hi Wayne, I have gone through the privacy location settings. There are a lot of things that are on if the app is open. But they are all things you would expect, things I had open in the past, like GPS, or yelp, or the weather. I don't think anything has changed. And I am not seeing that location tracking on in my status bar. I have background refresh turned off. Siri is available on the lock screen and with hey Siri. But that is not changed from previous iOS 9 settings. So I think I'm set up all the same. Maybe this battery is just getting old and not holding a charge as well. Heaven knows, it gets used a lot.
