While experimenting with this I used the phrase "my cat ate my pizza!" I selected the emogi keyboard, emogi was in the rotor and 2 words had emogi replacements, cat and pizza. But when I tried it by typing "Hi" the emogi didn't show up in the rotor. There is an emogi waving Hi. So definately this feature is hit or miss.
