I'm not sure jail breaking will increase the price you can get for your phone. Warranty may not be an issue, but jail breaking will void your warranty and you won't be able to get support from Apple or your carrier. I think it will depend on whether the person who wants to purchase your phone wants it to be jail broken or not. Maybe you can offer that option on request.
