With mine, sometimes I can search after removing from the app switcher but other times not. I’m seeing what happens when I reboot the phone.

Jim: I just downloaded, and installed iOS10 this morning, and so far no problems. I went into the app store, and did the same thing you did Jim, and had no trouble, as I both typed using the touch typing function, and the dictation key. I hit search button, and a list came up.
