Hi Mickey, You have a couple of options, well actually three. You can still move things out of a folder in the traditional way with double tap hold and slide your finger. Using the new way, instead of using the home button to close the folder, which also ends remove operation, you can use the iOS "scrub gesture" to close the folder, then proceed with the move process in the normal new way. You can also find an extra item in the action menu within the folder, once you have selected the object you want to move. If you flip down, you should see an option that says something like drop application, where application is the title of the one you're moving, out of folder. I haven't actually done it that way, but if you double tap that I assume that lets you proceed in the new way as well. Hope that helps.
